IBO Challenge: Hosts provide preliminary plans

As announced earlier, our regular IBO for 2020 in Nagasaki / Japan had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, instead of leaving competitors worldwide open-handed, the hosts of IBO 2020 have decided to try and offer a virtual substitute competition. The hosts have now provided on their website a preliminary plan for this remotely organized, virtual substitute competition - the "IBO Challenge" (in shortform).

The goal of this substitute event is to provide national competition winners " with opportunities to showcase their abilities and encounter new aspects of biology".

More information about the specific organizational aspects of this substitute competition will be released throughout the next weeks.
