Organization & structure

Quality Control Department, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam is the main organizer. The selected students have to pass 3 rounds of competition. First round is hosted by regional education departments around October. Second and third rounds are hosted by Quality Control Department, Ministry of Education and Training. The second is organised in January and the third in March every years.

Around 500 students

Tests

Round 1 and round 2 by essay, round 3 by multiple choice + essay and practical. A group of teachers and researchers from high school and university nationwide produce the test and students take the all the test in schools.

Training

The IBO preparing period is around 2 week in some universities.

High school text book, university text book and special designed NBO syllabus

Awards & prizes

The winners will get certificates, free entrance to university.
